The First Screenshots of StarCraft 2

StarCraft is a classic. No other real-time strategy game featured very different yet well-balance sides. It didn’t matter if you played the Terrans, Zerg, or Protoss; as long as you were l33t you’d kick some ass. Those who were l33t3r would kick yours. And let’s not forget the wonderful storyline. So it’s no wonder that people are still playing the game almost decade after its release back in 1998, all while clamoring for a sequel.

Looks like StarCraft fans all over will be bidding goodbye to the original. Blizzard has just released the first screenshots of StarCraft 2!

Even if the graphics aren’t revolutionary, they’re still pretty drool-worthy. And we finally get to find out how the story continues! No word on the release date yet. All shots courtesy of IGN.
